This rare vintage 1960s ivory crochet wiggle dress is truly a once in a lifetime find. Can't you just picture Sophia Loren in this? Considering how delicate the white raffia crochet is, it's really a wonder this dress is in such great condition. These are the designs that designers such as Dolce & Gabbana are constantly referencing— the real Italian deal. This dress was handmade by storied dressmaker Anna Giovannozzi in Florence, who was known for dressing the jetset crowd who frequented the Italian riviera in the 1960s. Features a zip in the back and is fully lined.

Measurements: This fits like a size X-Small/Small; note it is meant to be fitted like a wiggle dress, and the material stretches, so the below measurements reflect both flat measurements and stretched.
Chest: 29" laid flat, up to 32" stretched
Waist: 23" laid flat, up to about 26" stretched
Hips: 30" laid flat, up to 35/36" stretched
Length: 42" 

 

Good vintage condition; very small spot at zipper closure where it appears the metal stained the raffia.
